Autumn Equinox - How to align with the shift of the season
Can you feel the seasonal shift arising? Can you sense the vibrant energies filling the air? Smell the crisp of autumn approaching, the trees starting to slow their breaths and change their tones. Can you feel Mother Nature's heart beat slower, gentler, almost heavier? As the rich soil is filled with potent vegetables, and the heavy branches of apples are yearning for harvest; this is the time to bathe in the energies of autumn and use the seasonal shift as your guide.
What does autumn symbolize?
`What in your life feels good and balanced? What patterns do you need to let go of, to be where you want to be?´
My favorite way to reconnect with my inner cycles and changes, is to watch the color palette and landscapes shift as we're moving out of one season, and into the next. There is so much power in aligning with nature at this time of year, flowing with the changes both physically and energetically. Everything from noticing how the woods are changing their tones, to how the warm autumn sun is setting slightly earlier each day. Letting these moments of true nature guide us; and reflect on how the outer energies intertwine with our bodies. By using the cycles of nature as our guide, we are constantly reminded to align our energies with the environment around us, and notice how this affects our needs and inner landscapes.
I invite you to slow down, notice how you are, and engage with the season that is upon us. Here are some of my favorite ways on how to practically align with the autumn energy:
Morning ritual - using my bioenergetic oils
One of my favorite tools to support my energy in everyday life is the bioenergetic oils.
Regardless of how busy my day is going to be, I always try to prioritize starting my day off in a calm state. Giving myself a few moments to tap within, before I have to interact with the rest of the world. The oils are a part of my morning ritual, whether I'm starting my day off with some breathing, journaling or simply just before I make my coffee. Taking a moment to feel where I might need some extra love today. I´ll then choose my oils depending on what kind of support I need, and sometimes I´ll choose based on where I have some stagnant energy, and need some clearing.
It's a sacred moment that only takes me a minute, but it totally changes my day. And it allows me to start my day off by being aware of my emotions, which then makes me interact with the rest of the world in a state of alignment.
I personally love to use Mysterium Coniunctio right now, as this is also a very fitting oil for the energies of the equinox - finding balance. It's an amazing oil for connecting with my heart's true desire. For me it has a warm and comforting effect that guides me alongside the energies of autumn.

Forest bathing
My next favorite ritual is spending time in nature. This is an amazing way to align with the seasons. Noticing the colors, what phase the plants are in, and how the air feels. Forest bathing offers several benefits, some of them being; regulating the nervous system, boosting the immune system and enhancing focus and clarity.
Eating with the season
Autumn is the time for harvest, and one of my favorite ways to take care of myself is by making a delicious meal with the seasonal produce. Eating seasonally gives me a deeper appreciation of the natural cycles, and reminds us of all the abundance autumn provides.
Everyday magic
Value the small moments of presence, and make time for yourself. If it's only 5 minutes in the morning as you wake up, or when you're drinking your first cup of coffee. Even if it looks like playing your favorite song as you´re driving to work. Make these moments as enjoyable as possible, treat yourself to start the day with some bliss. For me right now, this looks like having my morning coffee with coconut milk and lots of Ceylon cinnamon.

These are my favorite ways of transitioning into the darker months with ease, to help me prepare for the internal work of winter. Hopefully you can take bits and pieces from this to create your own relationship with the seasons, and get to know how they interact with your needs.
